biomat was founded in 1992 as an engineering company dedicated to the biomedical field.

The development of the activity brought us to face the increasing importance of surface properties in the field of biomedical application, and therefore to focus on surface treatments.

The main step was the installation of a plasma reactor in 1993.
During the years biomat developed a deep knowledge of surface treatments, not only limited to the plasma based ones, but extended to a wide range of types (e.g. chemical & biological coatings) in order to offer to the customers articles and surfaces suitable for the latest developments of the assay or screening techniques.

Since the biomedical field involves multi-disciplinary knowledge we have also developed a net of connections with companies specialised in the different activities that are involved in the biomedical field such as surface analysis, assay development, etc.

biomat's activity is customer oriented and we address our efforts in order to offer a fast and reliable service to the customers in every field of application of our activity.

LOCATION

biomat is located in Rovereto in the Trentino Alto Adige region, a pleasant mountain area in the of north-eastern part of Italy.
Rovereto is a nice small town placed in the Adige river valley covered with vineyards, 15 km from the renowned Garda lake and 20 km from various ski resorts.
biomat is located within an industrial park (Centro Tecnofin Servizi) right on the other side of the railway respect to the station, within 10 minutes from downtown
